Co-FounderJoseph M. Willen is President and Chief Executive Officer of the privately-owned Advantage Title, which he founded in 1987. Advantage Title is the flagship company of the Advantage Group, which also includes Advantage Foreclosure, Advantage Legal, Advantage Settlement and Mortgage Advantage, all providing comprehensive real estate related services.
Advantage Title has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years. With 85 employees, including five in-house counsel, and offices in Melville, Manhattan, Pittsburgh, Riverhead and East Hampton, Advantage specializes in large scale commercial and residential title transactions throughout the country.
Willen is known for his leadership, integrity and for fostering a culture of impeccable service. He has built an exceptionally talented and loyal team of top professionals in the field who consistently exceed client expectations. This level of service has resulted in both the New York Law Journal and Long Island Business News naming Advantage Title the Best Title Company in the region.
He currently serves on the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG) Executive Board, The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Corporate Advisory Board, the Community Development (CDC) Long Island Board of Directors and the Energeia Executive Board. Willen supports numerous charitable and philanthropic causes. An avid golfer and boater, he resides in Northport, NY with his wife, Kim.
